On Sunday, we had breakfast again at the hotel, then ventured out to the other side of the town to ride the funicular train up the other side of the mountain. On our way, we stopped back at our "favorite park," and Jack used all the restraint in his body not to get wet while playing in the amazing water play station.
After a long walk (we had forgotten the stroller on this trip, meaning someone had to carry Kate because her "legs didn't work" all the way), we arrived at the funicular. We had a fun ride to the top - but the highlight was riding the bobsleds once at the top. This particular bobsled featured a "rope-tow" that pulled you to the top of the hill - and then you were off, through the mountain, passing Swiss cows and beautiful scenery the whole way down. The only way to enjoy the scenery was to ride alone or with Kate - as riding with Jack was too fast and scary to see anything. :)
We stopped at the park one more time on our way back to the hotel, and we probably should have skipped it. At the end, Bapa decided to try out the zip-line ride, and found out that it really was meant for kids, as he bottomed out (literally). One bruised tailbone later, we were on our way back to the hotel. Bapa and Jay took the train back to Zurich, and Ami and I drove with the kids.
That night, we had dinner in - while Ami and Bapa packed for their return trip home the next day. We had (as always) a wonderful visit with them, and we were all sad to say good-bye on Monday... but we were grateful for the long time together - as well as all the fun sightseeing.
