Ami and Bapa's Visit - Continued

Once we moved into our new place, Ami and Bapa were huge helps - as always! - in getting everything put away. Luckily, we managed to create a few "work stops" (Bapa found out that they are mandatory by law in Switzerland) and we did get out to have some fun in their final days here.

Pictures include a visit to Klus-platz (home of Mary Klus Nelson?), which is located right next to Jack's school and our favorite restaurant - Pizza Pasta Ciao.

We also had a great visit to the Zurich Zoo, where we got to watch three elephants be bathed and fed (including the baby elephant) just a few feet from us... Kate now approaches every person we meet by saying, "ela-ela" (elephant) and then making her elephant sound, which she makes by furrowing her eyebrow and saying "grrrr."

Our trip to the Zoo also included an up-close encounter with a peacock, which Jack LOVED - and Kate would rather take a pass on. Not sure if the peacock was trying to impress Jack - or just scared to death.
