At the end of the ski week, each class has a race. Jack was really excited about his big day - and although he had really hoped to wear the number "infinity," he was OK with his assignment of "105." I've attached a video of him from Thursday (the day before the big race), along with the outcome of the race day below.
After the race, Jack's teacher asked Jay if we would be at the awards ceremony (in town that evening at 5pm). Jay didn't think much of the question at the time, and we almost skipped it - but in the end, he and Jack went over just to see his buddies. Well, good thing he did...
Jack attended the ceremony in full Superman costume, and as the finalists were called out, we found out that Jack had WON the race for his class! He received a gold medal and even got to stand on the #1 block. It was so exciting for him - and he had a big smile on his face the whole night.
Needless to say, Jack was very excited about winning - and we were very proud of him as well. He celebrated with one final night in the Kids Club with his buddies (most of whom were leaving on Saturday), and wore his medal all around the hotel.
